You need to open the unit up. Theres a 10mm wedge in the middle and a couple of 6.5mm socket types. Fairly straight forward once you get it out. I have just bought a bunch of real good quality 5mm flux LED globes to go in. Produces a really nice white light for the buttons and is much easier on the eye. Doing the instrument cluster with 10mm wedge ones too.

Thanks mate - much appreciated. So remove the box, unscrew the covers and inside should be the light sources (wedge?) and access (ie it should speak for itself once the HVAC box covers are off)?

    Cheers and thanks

After you take the unit out,you unscrew 2 philips screws from the back side, you split the case, there are 2 circuit boards inside, you'll see on the back face of the circuit board(lcd screen side one) the 3 big bulbs(1/4 turn type) for the lcd screen backlight and 2 smaller ones for the temp switches.
I couldn't find the exact type for temp switch ones,i used some bulbes from an old vitara instrument cluster, much better ones cause you needed a fine screwdriver to get the original bulbs out but now you can grab the new ones with your hand.
It's dead easy if you get what i mean(sorry fro my english)

    Hi Brad
    Get mine from www.ledshoponline.com

It's based in either Brisvegas or Adelaide as I've had deliveries from both.
Just done the park lights in the Disco and going to be doing the rest of the dash this weekend.
Once I work out a way to adapt all the rocker switches, will do those too.
Window switches are really dull to say the least as are most of the others.
Use white LEDs and the dash needles come up a really clear white.
Did the RRC a while ago and muchos happy with the result! Sooooo much easier to read everything.
