Chasing a new front passenger side actuator (mechanism for door lock).

Locks OK but won't unlock without pulling the door lever. Obviously something broken on the unlocking side.

Where can you buy these on the cheap, prefer new (UK?/USA).

Hi Andrew,

Had exactly the same problem on my brothers Disco 2 td5, but was rear r/h passenger door. We sourced an actuator lock from the wreckers for $80. I think they are different so you will have to be specific which door. We removed the old one from the car at the wreckers so was a good insight in how to change. Took about 2 hours to remove the old and fit the new one to his car. A challenging, but not too complicated task.
