Hi, Since you have a RHD Disco you are lucky as ARB does a 2nd battery mount just for this purpose. On my (read European) Disco the brake servo sits were you can mount this extra battery. I chose a dual battery mount from Mike Aedo, which he welds together to replace the factory plastic mount.
Then I would recommend to buy 2 new batteries, for example an Optima Red and Yellow Top. (This is subject to taste and experience, but these DO fit in both mounts.
Lastly you need a smart charger that will first top-up your main battery (Optima Red Top) and then the Aux. battery (Yellow Top). I am using one from National Luna (S.A). This one has the option to switch both batteries in parallel offering you instantly double starting or winching capacity.
