I had a front output housing installed from a RR that had no high/low selector switch. This prevented the HDC from operating (and also prevents some electronic transmission setting changes from happening when in low gear, so I understand
).
Anyway, I installed a magnet and reed switch on the selector stick, underneath the leather boot, and wired the switch to piggyback the factory wiring from the original switch. Turned out very neat and reliable - you wouldn't know it was there
Now everythings back to normal.
