    Angry Cranks ok,but no spark

    Hi

I have a land rover discovery 1999 petrol model, working ok on the night before. I park inthe lockup garage. the next morning, i can crank the starter motor but the engine will not fire up. NRMA check the car, no spark on the spark plug, no fault code on the computer port being registered. wireless remote alarm/door lock seems to be ok too.
Any one have any idea or experience the same problem? How to resolve this?

    thanks

If its a D1 yes the ignition amp. If its a D2 then could be anything. N.B. the D1 runs a distributor, the D2 runs hidden coil packs under the back of the inlet manifold.
