Where to get lt230 sump extension.

This is the thread I wanted. The next extract is one of my posts copy and pasted from another thread, I just thought I should relocate it to a more suitable location.

You peaked my curiosity, after perusing discovery2.co.uk a while ago I saw the auto trans cooler but forgot about it till now. Subsequently I spent the next hour trying to get hold of one, there is one on eBay however I didn't like it as there was a quote "use original nuts". I thought to myself, this brand is apparently supplied with cover/gasket/10 s/steel socket head bolts and washers and locking compound according to the write up above. Now eBay wants 150 for the sump alone. I was able to get all the above mentioned items for less than 115 from Rocky Mountain Spares UK > Improved Engineered Parts and Accessories for your Land Rover and I got to speak to a nice as English guy with an accent! . the number I called after making a google search for country and area codes was 0011 44 1476 563525. All he did was put through my credit card details and that was that. Much much better value than eBay. Anywys thats my early morning rant. I will post this in another more appropriate area for others looking to do this job.

You know this thread is two years old right?

Personally, I run a Roverdrive sump and have been happy with it. Haven't noticed a difference, but it shouldn't hurt anything...

Ha ha, yeh I know. It's just in case anybody else looking at getting the extension has some more info on hand. Just trying to share my resources as everyone else does. That's how it works right?

I just bought one from rocky mountain in uk. Much cheaper than if you buy one from the distributor in oz I think. Took one week to get them here. I also bought the sensor for it and now I am having trouble running it back to inside the car

I bought mine locally from a mob in Queensland, was cheaper than any of the international sellers. Didn't come with new bolts. The old ones fitted perfectly with the Roverdrive sump, so wasn't an issue. I mention it here for anyone else that might be worried about buying one without replacement bolts.

I couldnt find a local supplier online except eBay and it was cheaper and more value from the uk. I wonder if it would still be cheaper now with our dollar the way it is now?
