i wish this was all. i had the fuel lines from the tank recently replaced only to have the car die within a few k's. return to mechanic who then said the pump had died , ok get a new pump. still not firing with the " learned mechanic" then claiming the wiring harnesses shot as well as the comp , but how does he know without a diagnostic of his own? after providing the use of a newly purchased nanocom , which he claimed incomplete as it had no 240 volt power lead i took the car away and shipped to darwin. the initial reports so far are the duel hoses incorrectly replced re feed into return lines the fuel pump in good working order but the fuel filter was full of crud so nothing could pass through! this was supposed to be changed at the time of the pump. unfortunitely there is still no joy in getting the engine to start. i doubt though the manual states where a good mechanic can be found especially outside a capital city.
