undo the 2 top multi hex bolts and it pulls out, then undo the light fitting.
i use a small bag of sillica on a string inserted into the lense, that way i can get it out easy.

    cheers phil

You've got to take the grill off and undo the screw/bolt on the side as well as the two on top. Can't recall if the bolt is behind the horn and/or under a plastic flap. There is a single multi-pin plug on the back of the housing to disconnect the wiring harness. The two headlights and the park and indicator are all behind twist off covers and there is an internal wiring harness.

You have a leak somewhere in the headlight. Once you have the lights out of the body, check that the seal around the bulb mounts are clean and that they close correctly.

    yep Kev, superior all round.
much wider spread on low beam,
    much better distance on high,,

cant see why you'd ever need spots

Yes they are. I was surprised at just how much better they are when my son upgrade the ones in his D2.

The other thing to watch out for is the stud/lug on the outside-lower-back. It may take a bit of gentle persuasion with a lever in the join between the guard panel and the headlight assembly. That's not in the handbook

I only dropped some silica gel in the fog lamps as they looked cloudy, but should have given them a wipe first.
