New keys?
Mate, do you need complete brand new keys or do you think you could get away with refurbishing the old ones? I have recently replaced the silicon button covers in mine for $36.00 if that's the direction you need to go in. Found them one Bay. Came from Perth. Not hard to fit if you have a cup of coffee and some peace and quiet while you do it.
I also want a new spare key but I hear they are gulp, $360.00 a piece and need to be programmed into your car (or vica versa.)
I'm also in Brisbane if you want to give me a ring.

Spare Keys
Guys
You can buy spare keys from the UK for roughly 89 pound and from USA for about USD 135. Both near the $150 AUD. You then need it programmed. Someone on the forum could possibly help here as some have previously offered.
A couple things to remember though.
- You need to make sure the key comes with a bar code (the ones from the USA and UK do).
- You need to be sure which frequency they use (315 or 433, something like this)
- Not sure about this one though but the dealer told me you need the bar code of the existing key, not sure about this one.
When speaking to the dealer in Brisbane I was quoted 70 clams to program and they have both key frequencies and determine by trial and error which key to use, this sound like BS to me but understand if parts have been interchanged (All up $360 but you have to arrange the cutting).
MR Automotive were slightly cheaper by about $40 or so and don't include cutting.
Once I get RAVE working again I plan to see if the part number show's up there.
Also do a forum search for spare keys which will clarify some of the frequency stuff.
By the way I'm also chasing a spare key for a D2 2003 and I'm either going to buy from the UK or USA once I can confirm the frequency and any other problems I could encounter.
Regards
Andrew
