All Land Rover's are designed from the outset to be the most capable four wheel drives "out of the box" . A 2" suspension lift will see you going most places. Then add lockers both ends and tyres to suit your application. Sometimes, you can't have your cake, but it can be just as satisfying. There is an old saying, " the reason you don't see many modified Rovers is because they don't need modifying". And no, its not legal to body lift a D2. Mine has coils at all 4 corners.

It is illegal to do a body lift on SRS airbag vehicles

SLS = Self Leveling Suspension

SRS = Supplementary Restraint System

Aaahhhhh ............... no they don't.

Dads just got himself a late 2003 d2a, coils all round. Was lifted, but returned to stock by last owner, as he didn't like it lifted.

Answers no and its the SRS not the SLS thats the issue
