Its a V8 too. Plenty of those in higher spec to give away at the moment. Nice to drive as long as someone else fills it up for you!!

I think I will buy a base model TD5 and spend some extra cookies on some mods

The manuals like mine use a bit less than the auto's but fuel is cheap - you have to look at the ks you intend to travel and how long you will have the truck. I nearly didnt do LPG on my 02 but decided to given the rebate. I was getting 15.5 l/100k in and out to Brisbane from the burbs and it didnt matter too much whether I drove it hard or softly - about 2l/100k.

On LPG of course its down to the equivalent of 10l/100k for petrol and a lot of range if you use both.
