Thread: Blocked Sunroof Drain

Hi

I've finally narrowed the source of the water in my passenger footwell.

Today I filled the sunroof gutter (it's an after-market Hollandia) with water and discovered that it was only escaping externally from one side. The passenger side is escaping into the footwell.

I then tried to feed wipper snipper cord through both drains but it would not get all the way through.

Next question ... how do I clear the blocked drain or could it be disconnected somehow?

It's this hole next to the footwell that the water is coming out!

Problem solved !!!!

What a relief ... such a simple solution to a problem that I thought was going to cost me a fortune.

After searching around, I finally found the hole that wasn't acting as a hole ... stuck a screw-driver in ... hey presto ... the car peed on me.

Whoo-hoo !
