    TD5 Shopping help in Melbourne

    Hi all

    I am in the process of talking a mate who lives in Rosebud into selling his 2001 Prado and buying a Disco. He is not happy with its towing ability when towing his 20 foot boat.

    I suggested a TD5 with SLS and ACE that has been chipped for some extra grunt. The problem is I am 15 hours away from him so I can't show him mine.

    Just wondering if there is someone in eastern Melbourne with the above spec Disco that is happy to take my mate for a drive and if he bought it to you - tow his boat for a bit so he can see what a good job it will do.

    Hi All

    Just got a call from my mate and he had some tyres rotated on their rims today to see if that would fix it but when he is towing his boat the who car shakes to the point that he can't hold his hand still. when he takes his foot off the juice it stops. He has only had the Prado for about 2 months. he is going to try and return it, all the best with that...

    Any way, if you can help us with a test drive I would really appreciate it.

    That PrayDoo sounds like its suffering from suspension issues rather than tyre issues.
    I would be suggesting your mate goes to a reputable Suspension shop.Has it had a suspension lift???
