I have changed the battery since the photo was taken, I not sure of the rating (will check when I get home) but it's is small.

it runs the Engel 40 litre over night.

there is room to fit a larger battery but I would need to move the isolator solenoid.

Actually, you could probably mod that set up to put the provent there as well......

Just bought and fitted one from ARB and they specifically asked the rear aircon question.....

Easy to fit just got to choose my battery option.....

May make this the starter and run my Optima D31M as the aux instead...

Whatever happened to Hamish71s' battery tray. I thought that was going to be real good. Is it still in the pipeline or been abandoned??

I have documentation from Piranha advising of two trays, part No. BTTD5 for no rear A/C and BTTD5AC for rear A/C. I was quite keen to pursue this a while ago, but got put off by the salesman who snootily pointed out the "Not suitable for Self Fit" comment at the bottom of the page. Also they seemed very expensive, way more than the $70 mentioned.

Can anyone advise, are the Pirahna units easy to install, do you need any special tools?

I tried a Piranha tray, was a pig to try & fit, the brackets seemed to be welded at the wrong angle. I took it back & got an ARB one, simple to fit.
