Yep sounds like air in the system. Did you release the expansion tank with the cap off and hold it above the engine height whilst bleeding? This helps get all the air out, repeat as many times as necessary to bleed all air out.

Hi All
I have fitted the combined engine saver and it seems to work a treat. I did a flush and put in new Red(what came out) nulon coolant very slowly.
I have dome 1300km on the hwy and now itis going off on the water alarm for 5 to 10 seconds when I start it, then it stops for the reast of the trip. I have used the bleed screw to bleed the air out of the system 3 times since the coolant change but it still goes off. Is this just air pockets finding their way to the high spot after I have stopped?
what do you think?
Cheers
Matt

Mine did something simmilar.
Turned out to be a loose conection on the plug at the bleed screw.
Quick nip with the pliers and all good.
Which one have you got?
the one that goes under the hose or the one that screws in to radiator where the brass cap is?
If under the hose clamp on top radiator hose, made sure its at pointing down, even a little sideways and they can play up as mine did.
Some research showed the new one is scred where the radiator plug goes and works perfect.
It will beep on start up and than its gone, also make sure you released all air out of system.![]()
If it's any help I have the TM2 version that involves a sensor attached to a bolt on the head (ie not hooked in to the coolant system).
Very occasionally mine goes off with an audible alarm on startup but then resets itself within 1 or 2 secs. So it's not necessarily your coolant sensor?
Thanks guys
I have the bleed screw type in combination with the bolt on temp sensor. I think I have got all the air out of it now but I have lost alot of coolant. I think I will get a 1 lt top up and then suck what is in the tank out and refill with concentrate. Don't want to let more air into the system.
do you think this is worth it.
Cheers
Matt
I woudnt use concentrate,,,
just mix it up and use that.

I believe you still have air in the system.
I have the earlier type, and have had similar issues.Once correctly bled it should be good.
It may pay to check your electrical system too.I had false alarms on startup for 5 to 10mins when I had a faulty battery, with a new battery it went away.To check this, remove the bleed screw sensor to see if there is coolant there, there was on mine.
GOODLUCK
Andrew
