12000lb Tigerz11 winch on a ARB Deluxe Winch Bar

My question (which I haven’t been able to find a definitive answer for by searching) is will a Tigerz11 12000lb winch (with Plasma) fit an ARB Deluxe winch bar on a Discovery II TD5? I’ve read some people say that the single speed 12,000lb will fit all ARB bars but not the dual speed model. Would also consider the 9000lb model if anyone can offer any specific guidance. I’m trying to avoid any major modifications to bar/winch/cradle.

With the popularity of this winch I’m hoping someone has looked into this prior to me.

    Hello Rain Maker,

I'm no expert but I have a Tigerz 12k winch on my standard ARB D2 winch bar. The winches all have a standardized bolt pattern to fit to any brand of bullbar. I have the control box mounted in the engine bay.
Not a definitive answer but I hope the info helps.

    Cheers,

    Jason

I wish your mate was around last night.
My D2 has had a sleep over in the bush near Noojee. I hope its still there when we resume the recovery this morning!
Well....... I'm sure it will be there, but will it be intact.

Well finally, she made it home okay.
It turns out a winch wouldn't have helped much anyway.
However recovery points are certainly on the top of the agenda now.
We needed to spin the thing 90 degrees to get it out, using a 30m soft sling tied around the front passenger side axle, around a stump and onto the toe point of my mates D-max. After a bit of digging she spun around okay and drove out. I'd think twice about going down Reference Track for a while, the ruts don't allow for much steering.
Sorry for hijacking the thread, but thought it might interest someone.

    Goodyear Silent Armour 245/75R16.
Not exactly the ultimate for that type of terrain, but once we set off on that route, there was no turning back.
    Otherwise a very good tyre.
My mate's Mickey Thompson 5 rib of the same size were no better.
