Recommend this crank battery
Just replaced the start battery in my '00 Td5 with a Super Charger MF31-931 (Gold Series). Terminals are an H design which isn't a concern, my old one was a C design; +ve lead still reached easily but more length can be gained by looking at the routing from the alternator. As technically it is a truck battery it is stickered as a 12 month warranty but they said to bring it back if any issues experienced for at least 24 months.

It just fits! Is the same width as the one I replaced but would be about 18mm longer. LR Dealer quoted $250+gst for a Platinum Power 1000cca replacement. This one was $240 inc gst for 950cca but significant discount obtained due to this site dropped it under $200. Can recommend Super Charger, Somerville Rd, Sunshine, very helpful guys (better service face to face).

Good unit, we fit them standard to our Freightliner trucks.
CCA's are quite commonly advertised as a peak max output but check the real specs based on how they arrive at the figures. Not everything advertised is to be believed and an extra 50 CCA may not actually prove to be any advantage.
Cheers
