Hi jwb
Am wondering, with your lift do you still use the SLS extended height function as well and if so do the koni HT shocks you mention extend enough for this. Thanks Discolaw
For those with ACE, SLS and a lift looking for extended shocks.
My D2 has ACE and SLS and a mild lift of 40mm and have had OME shocks to date. Koni had a +2" Heavy Track shock for the D2 items 82-2569 and 82-2568 but have stopped making them and only the fronts were available in AU and quite expensive. Paddockspares in UK have both and I've just had a set delivered. Will match the front with Lovell raised springs, the SLS already has the spacers.
Looking at the specs, the Konis will give me about 30mm more extension than the OME which would have been restricting and really topped out badly on the back in the rough stuff.

Also wondering if you have adjusted the bump stops with your SLS spacer lift or will the Konis 2" + cope with standard bump stop height? Do you have the specs extended/ closed lengths? Any comment on harshness etc now you have fitted them? Sorry to load you up with these questions but seems a lot of us with SLS spacer lifts are looking around for shocks at the right price. Thanks.
Have some of your answers and will post some more when I get back to where I have it written down...
Extended mode - I have been using it all the time I had the OME's, looking at measurements now I doubt there was much more extension before they topped out which is why there was plenty of thumping on the big bumps!
The Koni's have something like 30mm more extended length than the OME's willl post when I find the actual numbers.
I intend to do a full extension on the Koni's on the ramp and check/measure how much the bag is extended and also check on the brake lines.
I do have 30mm extended bump stops, not sure if they are really necessary and the pundits will probably tell me it is limiting something.

I have SLS with a programmed extra 35mm lift so was concerned with over extending the bags at full articulation when I was looking to replace the shocks..
Ended up with Dobinson GS51-119 shocks.... they quote extended length of 570mm (same as OE, compressed 370mm) but in reality it's 585mm.
I reckon its right on the limit of the bag full extension... wouldn't want it to be 5 mm longer.... Just had to unclick the passenger side ABS line from the chassis to give it some slack.
New :- D3 TDV6 2006 SE
Bullbar, traxide dual battery
General grabber ATs
Mitch hitch
Home made drawer and fridge system
Foldable UHF antenna on roof rail
That's good info about the 585mm being at the limit of the bag's extension. With my Koni's at 613mm and the 30mm spacer I should be similar but will check it when installed.

I am surprised with the 392mm on the rears compressedHT Raid part numbers 90-5452 90-5453
Front 373-575 Rear 392-573, and disappointed with the travels on front and rear. With stock suspension that I have, the +2" will not work well and topping on compression, and the Raid have very little travel
I am searching the maximum possible travel without necessarily up the car to +2" kits.
Hi Furka, its quite possible I mixed the F & R numbers when scribbling down during a phone call with Koni on the HT Raids which are recommended for standard or up to 30mm lift.
I'm very happy with my new set up. The Lovells extended springs have restored 25mm on the front which makes the car look level again and the ride is great on the highway and dirt roads. I didn't mess with the adjustment on the shocks and now keen to see how they perform loaded up and offroad.
Will jack the car up and take some pics of the full extension and compression on the air bags when my extended brake lines arrive.
