Just throwing it out there (correct me if I'm wrong)... I do believe that not all D2's had SLS, so it might be worth double checking whether it ever had it.
adequate as in the bare minimum
as opposed to good or excellent!!
I expect it will need some love..,

Pretty sure all 7 seaters came with SLS but the switch is on the dash and the compressor and hoses are all there too.
The remote that comes with it is missing however, bet that aint cheap to replace
Cheers
Michael
SLS was an option on all D2's
standard on 7 seaters,
The remote was an option on an option,,,,

INMHO... which might or might not ne totally discounted here.... there are very few probems with the D2A Most of the gremlins of the original D2 were fixed.
The transmission.... yeah that's a biggie but really, what work has the car really done? At worst, it's a 4k job for a total rebuild (I paid 6k, but that's another story)
Why are we so fixed these days on this magical 100,000km? In the days when I was growing up, 60,000 MILES was regarded as LOW mileage and a good prospect!
Having run my D2 through 245,000 k's, with a lot of bloody hard work (now written off), I have jumped at the chance to buy a D2A with similar k's as my old one! I reckon a well serviced Td5 will go 400k easily.
Just my 2 bobs worth.

Alan, I'm with you. Well serviced vehicles with higher odo readings are a good bet, particularly if the trip distances are long, eg "country" car. The downside is the associated body deterioration (paint, chips, windscreen, etc), but I reckon that these cosmetic items are easily fixed and a good bargaining element.

Pretty sure it's 20'000 kays for the service intervals on a TD5.
