D2a LHS low beam intermittent fault

Ah the joys of owning a landrover lol

My LHS low beam seems to have a mind of its own, and wont come on for days at a time..then suddenly ...its back on.

Before I go mad(er) chasing the fault, has anyone had this problem before and know of any fixes.

    Cheers

Have you actually replaced the globe as of yet?
It might just be a dodgy globe, the wire/filament may connect, then you hit a bump & the wire/filament reconnects etc..etc..& starts to work again.
I would try a glob first & see how you go.

    Cheers.

Yeah already tried that with a known good bulb.

Oh the fun of removing a D2a headlight when you have a bullbar!!!

Yes, the ARB factor makes it hard !
I could only suggest checking the wiring in the headlight as well as the wiring to the headlight. Dont see too many problems with the headlights in a D2a.
Check backed out pins, connections not pushed home correctly..

    HTH.

    Cheers
