Chaps had a look in the forums for some answers however nothing really covers my question....

Disco 2 V8 Year 2000

Due to a rather tired suspension system I will be putting a new set of coils and shockers in... The intention is to get a +2' lift under the old girl....

I also intend to change the old boots for a taller wider option so as to give some space under the diffs....

I have decided on a set of BFG 265 75 R16 Muddies...

Rather than stick with my stock Disco 2 16 x 7J alloys would I better looking out for a set of Disco 2 16 x 8J alloys... (not so much looking as I have an option on a cheap set $250)...

Would love to go the ZU alloy route but they are sooo expensive over here!..

What are the pros and cons of running 7J v 8J rims....

Only light/mod highway use... Mainly track / beach / bush / fire trail driving..

Truck usually carrying.... well everything!!
