    If it's metric find your local hose person and ask for a couple of Stauff GVxx fittings (xx is metric tube size,10, 12 etc) plus some equivalent metric tube. Or the joiner might even be long enough to replace the section you cut out where it's split.

    Else if you can do without until you're at sea next send it tome while you're away and I'll have it waiting when you get back.

    Thanks for the offers but I ordered a new 1 from Landrover parts supplier and hopefully be in darwin tommorrow, if not will get 1 made or try again to solder it..

    Gday All,

    Well I got the replacement pipe today and put it on and all seems fine..

    It can be done in situ and it didnt take that long to change, it was to hard to take pics and do a thread, but it can be done..
