    Talking My three friends

I over the past few years have tried to fix everything but the ABS unit I read through option 'B' and could see where the problem could eminate from---Pedro is right---I went the expensive way, and got my local landy mechanic to replace the ABS electrical components [ a kit supplied by wabco] as he said usually a $1100 job---my cost $800---guess what....... I have been very lonely for the past 2 weeks. As usual I will keep my fingers crossed

I get the amigos making intermittent appearances. According to the Hawkeye, the usual culprit is the shuttle valve.

You can get a shuttle valve on ebay for under $100, but before you do, have a look at this link ABS Mod - Land Rover Club V.I. which is a step by step photo guide to repairing the ABS modulator. Apparently Hummers use the sam Wabco system and suffer the same issues. It turns out to be a poor electrical connection in the unit.

I read the link before I got my D2, I suppose it may make more sense to me if I read it again now that I have a D2. I hope it helps.

As there's no local Nanocom 1's available and it's getting hard to get hold of whatshisface.... to order an Evolution, I contemplated a Hawkeye as I can also get the lead to hook into the Classic too but it doesn't have the additional features I wanted for the Disco....
So I am still in a quandary.... :/

Pedro, mine is a sensor issue not modulator issue. Option B won't do a thing to fix it.

    Cheers

No probs mate. Got public days off between Xmas an NY then off to Kalbarri on the 9th.
Don't expect it to be very busy at work so might even pull the hub during the day and have a look.

    Parts

When buying all the parts 5 amp wire is plenty big enough. If you use 10 amp it is about twice or more the size to the wires in the SVS (what you are connecting to).
