    Rear passenger replacement

Just managed to smash a rear passenger window while mowing (grrr).

Local wreckers have a Disco 1. Does anyone know if the window from that will fit my Disco 2?

Not sure but had the same issue 6 weeks ago....

Called TRS in Adelaide $90 plus postage....

Got it the next day ... $40 to glue in by the local man who can....

Land rover wanted $500 plus fitting!!!

    TRS have got lots in!!!!..

Just confirm which 'shade' you require... sundym or the other optikool I think......

Look at the bottom of the glass on the non broken side if you cant read the busted one....

If its the drivers side remember to disconnect the radio antenna wire.....

    Best of luck James...

Thanks for the hint re shade twodoors

I've already taken out teh smashed window - not too hard - bu I didn't see any antenna connection. Is that for the driver's door perhaps?

$90 is a good price - worth knowing when I go to the wreckers.

And I'll look into that other thread Pedro. Except that for some reason, I can never read past page 1 of a thread on this forum. Always reloads the first page. Haven't worked out why yet.

Sorry mate, I read this as being the 'boot' space window.... Price may be out... as you are refering to the up and down capable window!...
Again aerial does apply to the window I now believe you are refering to!!!

Still give TRS a call to have a ball park figure to compare...

I opened this thread expecting to see some instructions for removing pesky rear seat passengers... Alas, I am mistaken.

Seriously, TRS will have what you are after.

Umm, yes. Brain fart when writing title. I would never want to remove the rear passengers from my landy, they are the joy of my life. Now, my front seat passenger...... is also the joy of my life (in case she reads this)

Still didn't find an aerial though. Should I be worried? Have to take a drip downstairs so now must go ahve a look or I won't sleep tonight!

Reporting back to say that the Disco 1 window did fit the Disco 2. Hurrah!
Scratched tint unfortunately but it's got the Landy back on the road before Christmas.

Even got all 12 bolts and screws back in in the end, although took about 15 minutes rooting around to find the one that decided to disappear into the door frame itself

    Cheers all.
