    Smile dash board light questions

Hey all i know these questions have been asked before but I'm going to ask them again so i dont have to search different threads,
I was wanting to know firstly why my dash board lights appear every so often and then disappear? (tc<abs<?)
Also if driving when they come on is damaging the car at all?(seems to drive fine when on)
Fixable or will it be something i will just have to get use too?
Thanks for your time i appreciate it!

Guessing you have 3 lights coming on, ABS, TC & HDC.

If so, you have the 3 amigos coming to visit.

    Have a look in here:

This is THE place to go for any D2 questions you may have. Have a look for 3 amigos, and in there you will find the solution to your problems.

The best solution is "Option B".

    Jimmy

Firstly welcome aboard but prepare for a spray from Pedro.

Pedro, let rip. (you have my endorsement)

    Regards
    Andrew

P.S. By the way you have a case of three amigos and all of your questions have been answered by about .......... a million times over to the power of 1 million (on this forum and across the world).

    Ok, now I am worried.

The original post has been up for over 2 hours, and no sign of Pedro

Do we need to start a "Where's Pedro" thread???

This one won't be deleted. It's only getting momentum.

It's a legitimate question but I suggest you don't start your thread with "i know these questions have been asked before". This just doesn't go down well with regards to the three amigos. Like asking what colour is red?

    Regards
    Andrew

P.S. Pedro must be on a date.

P.P.S By the way the colour of red is Pedro. (only on occasions though)

Jimmy, not having a go at you, mate.

There is heaps of info in this site, and Pedro has taken most of the common stuff relating to the D2, and put it all in the one place, aka - The Good Oil.

You cant be exected to know if you are new here, but now you know where to look, all is good.

Now, there are a couple of unwritten rules in this place.

    1) It didn't happen without pictures. This relates to just about every story you may want to tell, especially the ones where you have to recover a Nissan / Toyota / Mitsu / etc...

    2) The only dumb question is the one you think of, but dont ask. Chances are, someone else is thinking something similar. So go ahead & ask.

With over 5,000 ACTIVE members on this one site, the wealth of knowledge on most subjects, not just Land Rovers, is huge. If you want to know something, just ask.

Hang around long enough, and you will soon come to realise that there is a large amount of good natured ribbing that goes on.

Have a look around, check out the vendors, the markets, and the other sections, and you will soon see that this is a great bunch of people.

Hey Jimmy there are no dumb questions just dumb answers!!

Just remember there are regulars on here and there are plenty of in jokes!!

The good news is that plenty of regulars means lots of folk who can help you out with your UK built machine

Search three amigos and grab a cup of coffee cause there is tonnes to read but the good oil is the place to go...

    Cheers

    Michael
