    D2a headlight bulb change?

I feel pretty stupid asking this but how do you get access to the bulbs on the healight cluster on a d2a? I expected to lift the bonnet put my hand in behind the light and remove a cover that would provide access to the back of the bulb holder! But no, the airfilter is behind the LHS and battery behind RHS. Could not see a way of removing the airfilter box in a real hurry.

Are you meant to undo the multi sided bolts and pull the light cluster forward?

Nah mate, there are three philips head screws holding the headlight assembly in, two you can see on the top of the light assembly (they are recessed) and the third is accessable by removing the grille. It is behind a little plastic flap. Remove these three and the whole assembly will come out. Undo the quick release wiring plug and it is all yours.
    Regards
    Robbo.

Up to MY03 RAVE shows you pull the headlamp off its locating posts, yes its just clipped in. Battery side the cover needs to come off first.

..and if you have a ARB bar you will have to turn it this way and that way to get it out from between the car and bullbar

.....then you will have to remember how to get it back in once the bulb is replaced

    Thanks,

Will look for the three Philips heads.

Pull the grill off? Well if it has to be done. After you have done it once it is so much easier. I hope
