Funny that...I was just looking at them myself yesterday and thinking there must be a better deal somewhere. I saw them at a Supercheap last month for $123, but im in for a better deal as well.....or perhaps a comparable overseas product?

    Go to RDA...
He was a director at DBA.
Pair of slotted rotors is about $250.00

HI ALL,do the slotted rotors reduce brake dust?,I drive my manual D2 pretty easy and I still get heaps of dust on the front, don't know what pads are in there, but I'm up for pads and rotors all round so Im looking at the best option. Also does anyone put slotted on the rear??,maybe a stupid question, but I'm a bit of a brake virgin!!
Sold my D1 with 140tkm with orignal pads and discs and clutch,so it's all a bit new,but I'm keen to try slotted on the front!
    Cheers Gregg

Yep, go for RDA. They're just as good and don't cost as much. I got RDA's on all four corners recently for $50 a corner. They aren't slotted but I don't think slotted rotors are really necessary for a slow 4x4. Part numbers are rear RDA7013 and front RDA7005.

Hey mate. Slotted rotors won't reduce brake dust. The slotted rotors are designed to help expel gases and heat caused from braking. The idea being that the brakes cool quicker and bite longer. This will be evident under extreme and constant heavy braking, which is why you often see sports cars or race cars with slotted rotors.
And FYI, yes, slotted rotors can be fitted to the front and rear.

In terms of your brake dust issue, truck some Bendix commercial pads or some EBC green stuff pads. I've heard good things about them with a little less dust.

Bendix 4x4 or Ferodo are great.

Dont run a metal pad! Or EBC their new compound is rubbish!

Slotted also has benefit of preventing gouging of disc due to grit, gravel etc and recover quicker after water and mud crossings.

Btw RDA slotted and Bendix = no dust
