TD5s have been noted to have a vibration at the revs you speak of. Have a look at this thread. I suggest you check your engine mounts, harmonic balancer and the flexplate. After that there are the drive line rotating bits like handbrake, propshafts etc, although if rpm specific and happens in all gears I'd stick with the engine related components.
Three amigos can easily go away but if you have an ABS failure it could be a bit more of an issue to repair. There are threads on here that show how to do some common repairs inside the ABS module.
The early TD5s are not easily remapped as they do not have an electrically eraseable PROM.
