Hi guys, apologies for not hitting the search button but I'm kinda in the need if a quick fix. The buttons on my key have finally given up thanks to my 3yr old having a chew on them. My question is, now I'm manually locking & unlocking my 2000 disco ES, how do I stop the alarm going off tomorrow morning at 3am when I go to work?
It sounds as soon as I open the door, I understand that manually unlocking doesn't disarm the alarm but how do I disarm it?
Cheers in advance.
Be nice Pedro![]()

Thanks Dazza, have one on the way but that doesn't get me out of trouble with the alarm in the early hours of tomorrow morning. If I can avoid it, I'd like not to have to leave it unlocked.
Cheers mate
Ok, just had a closer look, the button to lock is still inside there, button to unlock isn't!!! Bugger.. Must have fallen out when I removed the tape.
You will need to go through the EKA code procedure each time you lock then unlock the truck.![]()

Just a weird one, Hmmm have you thought about taking the power off the alarm horn???
Would this work as a temp fix till you get the fob/buttons
