    D2/D2a bull bar fitting?

How hard is it to fit a D2a bull bar to a D2 (2000 model)? I really like the ARB Sahara style bar, but they only do that for the D2a, hence my question.

I have read a few posts here and there that mention swapping the lights and grill from D2a onto the D2, but is it that simple? Are the lights/grill a straight swap?

Is there any other Sahara style bars out there for the D2 (I haven't found any, doesn't mean they don't exist though...)?

    Cheers,
    Nova

My understanding is that the D2a sahara bar can be installed on a standard D2 with only a minor trim to the bottom of the grill and the little panels under the headlights. About 10mm I think.

My brother has just fitted a Sahara bar to a 2001 D2 and as Biggin mentioned it only required very minor trimming.

Sweet, trimming the grill isn't an issue. If the panel gaps are too big I can always find some sticky rubber tube (like a door seal) and fill the gap.

    Thanks guys,
