Thread: buzzing noise under D2

Posted a thread about noise under my 1999 disco , thought it was the transfer case , decided to have a good look, grabbed what looks like a balance mechanism of some kind near the hand brake dohickey under, noise diminished, pushed it to one side, noise stopped. [almost] Said a quick thank you to upstairs, [ no not the missus] my thought -- vibration from a worn mount -- gearbox or engine? any thoughts from the pundits on the mountain[ or indeed ,from anyone who has an idea.] Bob.
Looks like were in for a bit more rain -- gotta love La Nina,[ bloody Spanish women, too much passion, from memory of a long , long time ago]

When broken, the TD5 engine mounts produce a bewildering array of noises if you believe half the posts here--
