Radiator clean for D2 ??
Can a 99 Disco 2 radiator be pulled apart and cleaned/repaired/reconditioned by a radiator repair shop?? or is it a case of buy a replacement??
I am unsure what can be done with an aluminium core radiator that has plastic ends.
If it can be repaired/reconditioned, is there a reputible place in Melbourne that does this??
I have been told that the job can be done on a Disco 1 radiator but am unsure about the Disco 2 radiator.
Cheers,
Jason

the short answer is yes it can but you would need to get some quotes to see if it is cost effective against a new radiator.

Thank you for the reply Disco W.A
The answer goes that a D2 radiator can be cleaned but, it is a roll of the dice as to whether it goes back together with no leaks(according to repair places in Melbourne).
The word that I have been given by various radiator specialist is to buy a new one as they can't guarantee a leak free repair.
Cheers,

The cost differential is negative. So the wise thing would be to go new. Peace of mind.
