    hello?

I said check oil level as my mates overheated & his reservoir looked normal but his oil was milky...head gasket..

TBH I wouldnt drive it any further until youve done lots of checks...last thing you want is to do major damage that far from home

Any notiable change in fuel usage?.
Check airfilter and air flow meter. Blockages, loose broken wires etc.
Does the aircon fan stay on just with the ignition on even before its been running? This can be a clue to the airflow meter.
If the aircon fan runs all the time even with aircon off, your airflow meter is gone. Hope this helps..

Is the thermatic clutch fan still serviceable? (your radiator fan driven by the fan belt, will free wheel all the time if not serviceable)

Although once at highway speed the clutch fan should not play much of a role.

    Water pump? Thermostat? clagged radiator?

Spoke to the guys at suttons this morning and he said to check the fuel pump and there is no fuel pump noise when you turn the key.

Thing it is the fuel pump only problem is getting it to alice to get it fixed
and get it checked out it going to cost.

Outback Vehicle recovery 08 89521087 Will probably cost a bit.

    High North Transport 08 8952 2611 (may take a day or 2)

You seem to have 2 separate issues. The second issue makes sense for the fuel pump to be having a problem, but fuel pump wont cause the overheating problem.

Check your Fuel pump relay. R1 (first yellow relay from the front of the Fuse Box)

I have a spare fuel pump which I could send you if you get really stuck (can you do these things yorself?), but for the headache and time to get it to Coober you would be best off getting a new one.

    Cheers

If its just the fuel pump then is not a big issue at all... More an inconvenience.

All you'll need is some basic tools and some patience... Maybe 2 hours to change taking it easy.

Give Phil at TRS a call and get him to express you a Fuel Pump (either a tested good 2nd hand one, or a new one).. They use some quick freight companies...
