Thread: Steering wheel wobble at 80km'h

    D2's do not have swivel pin housings , in any other 4wd they are mostly your first port of call for wheel shake at 80kmh. I am not sure what D2s use to counter wheel shudder. more camber / housing inclination? But the front prop shaft sounds a good idea as the double joint is very sensitive to wear.

    you will probably find 9 out of 10 places dont know how to do wheel alignments on constant 4wd vehicles. they dont even know a Landrover is a constant 4x4. My bet is they set toe In instead of toe out,

    check it with a piece of string, the distance across the front of the tyres should be about 1-2mm wider than across the back, if it has toe in it will shake at btwn 80 -90 k

    No they don't, but the do have swivel pins. If one of these is collapsing/dried out, it can cause it. Do you have an unexplained 'knock' as well?
