Fix it once & for all yourself if you've got the slightest bit of mechanical skill. Put coils in!!!!
That's what I did, there's oodles of info on here about SLS.

Hello All,
I have a 2003 D2 and have a problem with my rear hydraulic suspension. Problem being that during travel the rear suspension will fully deflate, after about 10 minutes, the rear will bottom out then it will inflate and be fine for the rest of the trip. On occasion I get the 'off road' alert error flash before it did it, but this has probably only happened twice out of twenty times of deflation and inflation.
The deflation happens on both sides of the rear at the same time. I have had the bags and lines and compressor checked and all are in good order. I should mention that I also have the 3 amigos problem intermittently but not enough to drive me mad yet.
I spoke with Land Rover (MLR) in case they had come across similar issues - they were only interested in replacing my suspension, and they hadn't even looked at my Disco!
Has anyone in AULRO come across this issue? or are they aware of a Melbourne based LR specialist who may know about fixing the problem? I have had a look through the forums but haven't been able to uncover any info on this.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated, thanks

Who checked the system? Clearly there is an issue somewhere in the system and their diagnosis is flawed.
If just one of your bags has a leak, then the system will deflate the opposite side, especially while driving.
I'd get both bags replaced as a starting point as it's obvious that the compressor and the lines are doing their job in being able to inflate the bags.
The bags are not expensive and (if you're a bit of a home mechanic) can be replaced pretty easily.
Another option is that your ride height sensor might be sending false signals?? Others might be able to provide more detail about that one.
I'm not surprised that MLR told you to replace the whole suspension system. More coin for them!
I'd recommend clicking on the "shop" link up the top of the page and purchasing the RAVE cd. This manual is worth its weight in gold.
As to the 3 amigos issue. Any number of problems can cause this. Some will suggest straight away that it's caused by a faulty shuttle valve or a faulty ABS modulator. These fixes aren't particularly cheap.
Some will also direct you to an "option B" fix on the ABS modulator, but I'd use this as a last resort.
First up, check that all of your pads are not worn, check that your discs are not too thin and finally check that your ABS/wheels speed sensors are not faulty.
With the ABS/wheel speed sensors, check first of all that the connections are nice and secure. One or all might be loose, or might have slight corrosion from wet weather.
Do you find that the Amigos appear after a run in the wet?
To check whether your speed sensors are working, you can literally jack up one wheel at a time and pop the car into drive. If the wheel spins and registers on the speedo, then the speed sensor is working. (Thanks to Pedro for that tip!)
I hope this gives you something to work with.
Cheers,
Chris
Firstly, ignore the chorus of the spring fraternity.
If the bags, lines & compressor check out ok, then that really only leaves 2 more options:
1) Ride height sensor
2) SLABS ECU
The sensors are little plastic arms just infront of the rear axle on each side. You can see them without having to crawl right under the car. Check & see if one or both are loose.
Not sure how you would check a SLABS ECU without swapping another one in, but if you have access to a Nanocom, then you could at least see if there have been any faults logged.
The 3 amigos shouldn't be related to your air suspension.
BTW - welcome to the forum. There is plenty of good info here, and people are more than willing to help out.
3 things to remember:
1) It didn't happen without pictures
2) The Good Oil (TGO) is the place where all of the most used D2 info is kept.
3) Search is your friend here.
check the earthing wires, the bolts may have come loose, its behind the battery
By what you are saying its similar to what happened to mine ...
