Will the linkage from a d1 fit a d2 transfer box, or are they a different beast?
I found that the HI /LOW lever attachment from the D2 box was different when I replaced my D1 box with the D2 Box. I had to fit the D1 lever connection and top of the D1 box to suit. The lever is a different shape in it's bend and was also fitted to a shorter lever shaft . In other words it did not line up correctly. in other words the lever arrangement was not inline, it was at an angle.Quote:

The D1 lever attaches to the top of the box and is activatced by rods/levers, the D2 is mounted on the body and has a cable.

You do get a lot more noise using the solid linkage in a D2 when the levers mounted on the body.
CAn some one tell me where I can source the AMV parts for the D2 CDL ? I am having a heck of a time findingthem online. Thanks in advance
