Hi all,
Just wondering where we stand with the development of an Xrox bar for D2? I know v8dunekiller has fitted one but is it all approved for use on D2? I'm hoping with my tax return I will buy a front bar, just want to know what is availbale before laying down some cash.
Cheers Matt![]()
Ok, so should any D2 owner be able to walk into opposite lock or whatever distributor and ask for an Xrox bar for a D2 and they will say "no problem". I have looked at the OL website and they mention nothing, I am really keen to get one as they are a fair bit cheaper than an ARB/TJM alternative and look awesome, just looking for that 'approved for D2'. I think i will give my local OL a call soon and confirm.
Cheers Matt
Doesn't matter what shop you go to Matt for an xrox bar they won't have one in stock as you have to order it for a landrover discovery they don't have them sitting there cos there's not enough people wanting them for a landrover as it's a Toyota or Nissan market that's why it look them 6months to build mine and yes on the opposite lock site says defender but if you ask them they will order it for the D2 as far I know this is the only one that they have sold for a landrover so far
Cheers

Hi all,
Just noticed last night on my latest 4wd action DVD that OL are offering free lightforce 240 blitz driving lights with all xrox or other OL bars sold through their shops until August 17th. First thing this morning I rang my local OL store (Ballarat) and asked to order one xrox bar in for my D2, they rang the manufacturer to confirm and then told me that it should be ok but will confirm when the manufacturer fits one to a D2 next week. So now I am just waiting, the price I've been told is approx $1150 (because they have to pay $150 shipping to get from WA).
Cheers Matt
Yep all true im dropping my car off tomorrow at outback accessories who produce the bars. to get the bar fitted and tested etc.Finally.... , I'll post some photos up next week for you.
Also for people to know they will supply the bar to suit a body lift and they confirmed that the bar can cater for up to a Warn 15000lb winch.
Was in at my local Opposite Lock today enquiring and he called the manufacturer to check.
Wait time on the bars is around 5 - 6 weeks.
