XROX Front Bars
Ok having looked at my options for Legal front bars for my 99 D2 and noticing virtually no options other than the TJM or ARB bars, i had a chat to 4x4&more in osbourne park about an XROX bar which they currently don't do, and interestingly enough he said if i can get together 4 or 5 guys who are also interested in an XROX bar they will do a prototype bar for the car and do a run of 5 to fit the vehicles. I have offered my car up for the prototype which will take about a week of measurements and fitments etc. so now im after the 4 or 5 people. Is anyone interested

Unless XROX are going to do crash testing the bars are still not legal.
5 crash tested (approved) bars would easily run to $4000+ min after testing.
Don't get me wrong - your choice...
And I don't mind the look...
But it's not legal...

ADR compliant
Hi
I would be willing to get one, but after reading Tombie's comment and then the feedback from the manufacturer about the fact that they are compliant, I am confused, as I do not want to instal something that will upset the insurance company if there was ever a claim.
How can we confirm the legality of this?

Please give them a call if you have any hesitations about it as this was one of my first questions regarding the bar, and it's one of the reasons why i haven't put one of the many other tube bars onto the car already.

XROX ADR compliant
I just received an email from Xrox to confirm that their bars are "100% Airbag/ADR compliant" so hopefully that will satisfy my insurance company.
Tombie - your thoughts?
