Agreed I brought mine (Dunlop brand) from the Airbag Man as well and their service is excellent. One of the new ones failed when it was installed and they shipped a replacement down without question the very next day.

They are also prepared to haggle a bit on price if you ask nicely as they don't like losing sales to the US.

    cheers,

Hi Daisy Driver, we had the same problem with our Discovery II. Our problem also did not trigger any fault codes relevant to the air suspension. The dropping of the rear suspension was caused by a leak in one of the airbags.

As Alpick and TerryO have suggested, first select the raised suspension mode (off road). Then squirt water mixed with dish washer detergent or similar on the airbags. Remember to squirt the detergent on the top of the airbag at the connector and the lower part of the airbag that rolls down when it is at normal height. If there is a leak, there will be a mass of bubbles around the puncture.

After replacing the airbags with new ones made by Contitech in Germany last year, we haven't had any further problems with the rear air suspension.

    latest on Daisy's sagging bottom....

We got back from holiday on Monday straight into packing and yesterday all our worldly goods went down the road in a big metal box marked 'MAERSK' - next stop Sydney. We follow at the end of the month. In the absence of my spanners Daisy is off to the dealer on Monday to have the suspension done, I am leading the horse (mechanic) to water and have told them to check the airbags first. I will keep you all posted on progress.

Daisy went off on Monday for repairs. One set of new air springs later and she is all fixed. I am just waiting on my export licence and then she's on her way to Oz. Anyone know how long these things take to come through? I posted the application in mid July and they have cashed the cheque but no sign of the ticket....
