    Question Flashing green trailer light with the indicator?

    What is the go with the green trailer light on the dash? It flashes with the indicator even though no trailer is connected, is this right or is this indicating a problem?

    Do you have a bull bar with indicators in it? If so, the system is picking up the extra load in the circuit and is assuming that this extra indicator is a trailer indicator and it is working correctly.

    Change the bull bar indicators to LEDs.

    Does it flash just once and then stop or does it keep flashing?

    If it flashed once, then it is doing what it is supposed to do to reassure you that it is still working.

    If it keeps flashing, then the previous comments about extra load apply.

    Cool, thanks for that. I have the ARB Sahara front bar. So I assume the additional indicator lights in this are causing the issue. I will replace with LEDs.

    Flashes continuously with the indicator lights.

    I towed my camper trailer the other day and my green trailer light did not come on. All external lights operated normally Lights on the camper are bulbs. Is this normal?

    My Van has LED lights and the green trailer light does not come on when I indicate. Where as with a box trailer hitched up with incandescent globes it does.
