Thread: TigerzII ARB Bullbar and offset Hawse Fairlead

Smart ones, of which there are many.

I am about to fit an ARB Deluxe winch bar and TigerzII 12000lb winch with rope to my D2a. I dont have the bits yet as I want to order the correct hawse with the winch.
Looking at the pics of the ARB bar it looks like I will need an offset Hawse as the boltholes are at the bottom of the cut out in the bar. I can swap the Hawse at time of purchase(E-Bay) if I ask, so need to know if I am doing the right thing getting the offset Hawse.

I havent fitted the bar yet but here is a pic of the winch and fairlead. It looks to me that the rope may catch on the lower bullbar edge behind the fairlead.
Another issue is the hole above the fairlead. I am thinking of getting a piece of aluminium cut to fit over the opening, having the same cut out as the fairlead and then fit the fairlead over the lot.
