No flats yet either after 30K on them in my Lux.

I have Duller D694's on my Ranger. A very good and strong all round AT tyre.
Geez those Geolanders must be good because I find my 245/75R16 GY Silent Armours very impressive, in all conditions. Very quiet too.

Have just fitted Cooper's AT3 245/70/16, speedo is correct, noise is low, grip so far is good.

Ok so whats the choices and suggestions............have looked at Cooper ATR 235/70R16 as a 70/30 tyre, can i go 255 on the standard rim?
    Thanks to all in advance.
Pirelli Scorpion ATR's - an excellent tyre and better than the highly regarded Michelins for noise and traction.

    Smile THANKS TO ALL

Thanks to all, ive come to the conclusion after reading everything and talking to several tyre outlets that it is between the pirelli's and the cooper's. have found the pirelli 245 in an LT available substantially cheaper than the best cooper price so think i may head that way.........

The LT version provides for greater strength if you do a lot of driving when loaded up off road.

There is an increasing body of reports that Coopers under perform, search for the info about them delaminating.

click this below and there is a reasonable response to your question.

Agree re the ATR's, I hav done 58,000kms on mine 245/70/16 and they will probably easly get to 80,000kms. I do rotate all 5 though so that mileage may be less if you only rotate the 4 on the road.
I have had BFG A/T's and while ok they howl if you push the car fast into tight corners, the Pirlelli's just hang on and do the job with no fuss.

I mght even go to BFG KM2's next as they seem very quiet for a mud tyre.

I have Cooper ST's and have found them to be very well mannered on the road for an AT and great off road with the right pressures in them. Previous to this I had Yokohama geolanders on a 1984 pajero. Great on road but fairly average off road in the wet.
    Hope this helps.
