    2001 Discovery 2 advice

Hey there - was thinking of having this number transported over to brisbane but am obviously reluctant due to not being there first hand. Any info you can provide to a newby in the landy world regarding the 01MY model..? The price looks a bit too good to be true on this one...any info would be greatly appreciated! Cheers Mark

I work on the rule that if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. However, that said it does look pretty tidy.
Interested to know why they have needed to replace the injectors on a vehicle of this mileage. My Td5 has 270k on the originals. I beleive they are around $800 EACH so you wouldn't do all 5 unless there was a very good reason.
This car will NOT have a CDL connected and is very likely to be one without the internals so if you are looking to do some real off-roading, that is something to consider.
Why not put a post up asking someone in WA to go have a look for you. It could save you from a bundle of trouble.
Just as an asside, my 02 disco was paid out to the tune of $14,500 plus $1,799 for insured accessories when I wrote it off earlier this year and was by no means in the condition this one appears to be.

Looks ok but with out seeing it in the flesh ............. all 5 injectors and a fuel pump ??? Some things dont add up. Depends what you want it for but then you still have to get it over to bris. Have any mates in wa ?? Ask on a land rover website in wa and see if any one can get eyes on it and drive it, better pass on something that ends up costing another 10k and spend a little extra closer to home.

I went to have a look at the car on the web site and it is gone, no longer listed... No more worry then.
