    TD5 billet flywheel replacement

    G'day All,

I've been emailling (even rang) and can't get a reply out of Ridgeway, who make billet flywheels and clutch kits for TD5's, in the UK. Can anyone advise whether:

    1. Ridgeway are still trading?

    2. Or if there's another outlet somewhere that I can contact to purchase this set up for my Disco?

My clutch in my 2004 Disco is on it's last legs and I've read nothing but good things about other owners 'chucking' their existing flywheel and clutch in favour of the solid flywheel and improved clutch kit as well as uprated throw out bearing.

    Thanks

    I assume you mean Rakeway?

They are very laid back. I have one of their flywheels in my 90.

You will need to keep ringing them.

I am waiting a shipping quote for another one. I spoke to them last week.

Keep ringing them. Otherwise, other supliers also do them. Devon4x4 do one for example which is branded britpart, but I believe all the flywheels themselves are made by Rakeway.

The part I dont know on the britpart one is what brand the clutch parts are.

    devon one is here: flywheel

I got a shipping quote overnight to SE Qld for 255 pounds, which is exactly what I paid last time for shipping.

Don't bother emailing Rakeway. Neale told me that he rarely checks emails.

When I ordered my clutch kit, I rang daily to check on progress. The phone was answered every time.
Try ringing at around 9pm local time. You should catch them just before they go to "dinner" .
