Curious to know what the prices you get from the US are.
Have you had a response yet?
Due to 4x4Intelligence being shut down and the delay in finding an alternative supplier, I have been doing some research and digging regarding Truspeeds and thought I'd post my findings here for anyone interested.
Users on here use the Samras Truspeed in their Discovery 2 to correct the speedometer (more details in here http://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery-...ger-tyres.html ). There is also an American company, SuperLift that sells an identical looking product with a different sticker. However, the SuperLift unit comes in three different varieties (although the Samras unit also seems to come in at least two varieties - Type A and Type.
After speaking to some suppliers and such, it has been indicated that they are the same product.
I have also found a member, Andrew Parker of rangerovers.net ( RangeRovers.net • View topic - Tire Size and Speedometer Recalibration ) that has installed the SuperLift TruSpeed 33002 Module B to his truck and it has worked (note that with the Samras units Type B is the unit AULRO members have installed into their trucks).
This morning 4x4 Design and Engineering got back to me about being able to supply the Samras TruSpeed locally (Contact is Michael Samootin, 0412 227 085, samootin@yahoo.com ). They are charging $240.00 + GST + freight, but are out of stock for the next 4 weeks and often sell all their stock before it arrives.
As such I'm still considering the option of purchasing from America as it would probably arrive a fortnight earlier and they are cheaper...

03 Disco 2a, TD5, Olso blue, 7 seater, Auto, Chipped, EGR'd, 2"lift, SLS, Dual Batteries, Provent, TM-2 engine saver
Maybe just put your name down for one from Michael. If you've gone this long without one, another 4 wks won't hurt ?? Use your GPS in the time being... This way you'll have local support with a product. My truespeed sat in my glove box for three years before i installed it. Got so used to driving 10% under the limit that i still find myself doing it now.
Cheers
George
