Looks good, What springs did you get with the kit?
Hey All had a busy weekend on my own thanks Jibbut56 for your help......... over the phone.
And fitted a 2" lift kit from Les Richmond's white tiger 4" kit for the D2 Only had time to do the springs and brake lines as I did it on my own.
I must say all the parts supplied were of top quailty but the destructions where a bit hayzie they had bolt spacers in the parts list but have been taken out of the kits.... this I found out on monday morning.
and even then you kinda had to know how to do do the actions listed
But I must say I'am not a top mechanic but did work it all out with much ease just dont worry about removing the anti-roll watts link, I now have to replace one as it did not wont to be removed it will now be removed for good.
In the end got it all in missed the BBQ at dads for bathurst but still got dinner after.
On test drive for dinner, had a wee knock on full right lock.... brake line touching the in side of mag easy fix.
got the speed up on the free-way and got a bit of a shaking getting up to speed up which once at 100 stoped drop down then getting back up again shakes????? not sure maybe the damper needs adjusting or up grade
But all in all great ride feels better then stock setup as it should, and even did a little test hill out the front for a ramp test got higher but was a bit wet so the grass did not allow me to do a great test, when its dry i'll re-do and get a pic.
Should I do any more mod for this to work better as they did not say to do any.
I did also top up the oil...2 lts thanks to my brother who has been driving it letting me know its not leaking oil... could not check the diff and only had 30min and could not get the plug out and gave up do that tomorrow.
but drove it before the kits and was only slow off the line not shaking
More needs to be looked at I think

OK that me settle my earlyer statement..
I went up to the Boys at Les Richmond who have been great over the phone me helping me, after a Auto service this morning and removing the front drive shaft and CDL in to try to locate the shacks,
I made my way up to see the boys at Les Richmond, after a 2 sec look at the car he asked...."Where's the rest?"
Dick Head me then had a light switch go on in the head. "You have fitted the springs AND the spacers" ..... Yes I have. And this is where you tell me I have to finish the whole kit.
I then got the detailed version of how this kit works, You see from what I had read its a 2" spring lift and a 2" suspenstion mount drop........ seems like its more of a 4" spring (and Bag or me) lift and to drop the other bits down 2" to suit the new angles.
This boys and girls is why its not driving straight, My plan had been to do a half 2" lift and when I had time to finish the job, I had just added all the bits that NEED the rest to be done to work right.
I has all been a bit of a missunderstanding on my half and dont I feel like a dick.
Well spent about an hour today and got most of the other bits done so tomorrow should see it all done and ready for the meet next week
Hey mate,
When I got my les Richmond 4" lift for my D2, I was only gonna do half aswell, as I thought how am I going to fit all this on my own in a weekend, but once I started it all went together really easy.
It was the best bit of kit I've ever bought, completely changed how my car performed.
Hope it all comes together for you.
Albert.
