SRS airbag warning light stuck on

On behalf of another d2a td5 owner- his srs airbag warning light stays on permanently. He also has the 3 amigoes constantly- are the two related? I haven't ever come across this one, I have had the fourth amigo myself (the park brake warning light) but not the SRS. Any ideas? Also- can a nanocom access the srs fault code?

I think they may be unrelated faults as they are generated from separate ECUs? I'll have a look on my Nanocom in the morning and see if I can validate my theory.

I found this reference to the SRS system while looking for something else. Maybe it helps you further?

A Nanocom 1 with firmware V2.06 or V2.07 can read the SRS faults as can a Nanocom EVO with the right firmware.

Thanks for the replies, Yorkie if it's as simple as a few yellow connectors my friend will be stoked- amazing how electrical gremlins so often turn out to be simple. on the other hand- i better touch some wood, right now

Ah, interesting thread. I just bought a d2a and have had the SRS light come on intermittantly over the last coupla weeks, might go through the car with a can of elec contact cleaner.
