One of the reasons some people purchase BF Goodrich tyres is for some reason everyone raves on about them. If someone buys them and don't get the same results its disappointing because they're an expensive tyre. I have had incredible success with Khumos having 90,000km on a set of AT"s, incredible success with Bridgestone 694's at about 80,000 when I sold the vehicle ...and now I have Khumo KL71 muddies which have so far done 65,000km and will easily do over 80,000 in their present state. I have never had a puncture, sidewall split or any strange wear in any of those three tyre types and I go all over the bush, usually twice a year 5-6000km each trip. I don't believe any other tyre could outperform the Khumo's in any situation....they do dig a bit in red sand like the Simpson, but if you listen to me that's what you'd buy. Others will tell you different. btw, I have no idea how to repair a puncture....I have not had one in 30 yrs of offroading.
