    Front Cup Holders

anyone had cause to pull apart and repair the front cup holders above the diff lock lever? I knocked mine, and they lost their springiness in and out. Then today, one side has come out more and locked into place. Thought I'd ask for advice before I tackled it. (not sure if it is in RAVE, not had a chance to check yet).

    Cheers,

Mine slides in & out ok but the mechanism to lock it in the closed position is shagged so it's just wedged in with a folded up maccas napkin 😜
Going off the pic, thanks Pedro, might have a crack at pulling it out to see what's going on inside there😊

True story, a tin is the only thing that'll fit & it's too shallow, one decent corner & u hear whatever it is you'd planned to drink. Can't say I've used mine since finding out the design fault the hard way😡

I just replaced mine with a new one, there is a spring at the rear that gives the push out, but at the rear is a thin pieces of plastic, (VERY FLIMSY it has a tang that goes into a lock gate. There is where the problem lies, the flimsy plastic tang slides into the lock gate, when the Flimsy Tang snaps off it no long locks. So the holder won't keep closed or won't open.
There are pretty exxy second hand, I bought a new one

I pulled mine out whilst replacing all the console globes with LED's. Put a self tapper through it as I was sick of the bloody thing popping out all the time..esp when I needed to get to the short stubby lever
The fact that they are totally useless for all the above reasons, I don't miss them at all.
