The Front UJ has a grease nipple but no nipple on the shaft. The sliding spline has a bellows type rubber boot with a permanent factory fitted clips so I guess they must be greased for life?? What is the best type of grease fot the IJ's. Car is a 2004 model with 118K on the clock.
The sliding spline has a grub screw that needs to be replaced by a grease nipple for servicing. The grub screw is then put back.
A suspect propshaft usually shows deterioration on the outer ends of the UJ.
I would replace the non-greasable UJ's with greasable type as insurance against failure, even if you think they are okay. See Urban Panzers great website for details.
